Default Bike Rack for Gobi Stealth??

What options are there for mouting a bike rack on the gobi stealth roof rack? Or does everyone use a hitch mounted rack? I will need to be able to transport up to four bikes.

And as always let me see pics!

John

I believe yakima or Thule work with it. That being said I use a walmart special Allen 5-bike hitch mounted rack. I bought an extender so it readily clears the spare tire.

Sent from some string and a few tin cans.

I reached out to gobi. They told me that both Thule and Yakima would work with their roof rack.

Yes both Yakima or Thule will work as long as you use the 1" tube adaptors.

I would have to imagine that getting 5 bikes on top of a -probably- lifted Jeep is going to be quite the ordeal. If it were me I'd pick up a hitch mount rack that hinges down so you can still access the rear cargo area while its in the receiver.

Good point. But I don't want to block tail gate. Top of jeep is all useable space, just a little more work to access.
