What do I need to purchase if I want to have something that fits across the front window channel and goes over front and back seats and ties down to the cargo area or rear if the roll bar. I only have a hard top and no surrounds but do I need surrounds or just something for the window channel..I've pretty much gave up on Trektop bc I want something I can totally remove in a shirt amount if time. Thanks

 

The Bestop Cable Bikini Top comes with everything you need to install it on the Jeep. The cable tops are great because they eliminate a lot of the flapping you can get from a cheaper top. Let me know if you have any specific questions or if you'd like a quote!

I like the QuadraTop Bimini Plus Top. It does require door surrounds, meets all you requirements listed, and isn't very expensive.

 

I misread the install instructions. Sorry for any confusion. This top does require factory door surrounds like most others do. What it includes is the header bar that some others don't include. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I have the best top bikini and you can use it without door surrounds but you'll end up with a gap from the roll bar to the door. I strapped it though the window to keep rain out which works ok in a pinch. The surrounds will solve that issue though just make sure the top you order fits the surround you order.. cable style or the plastic tabs that fold under a ledge

 

Thanks for the info. I went with best top safari plus purchased the window channel. I just wanted something that I could entirely take off or put on quickly mostly needed something for when the sun is beating my children in the back seat. Just for anyone's curiosity the safari in black diamond was $106, channel $44, shipping $23 on amazon total $173
