I have the Best Top bikini and like it. Bought it in summer so I might the improved model.
Also have the duster. I run with tube doors. Tried the extended duster to cover up the rear
seats and did not like it or the windjammer, both just did not look right. Will try the new
complete windjammer that wraps around. Like that when out 4x4ing I can easily take the
bikini top off for the full open experience.

 

I bought the much debated "half-top" from Canada and after receiving it, can't complain whatsoever. I don't know how much product support there will be, but the function is simple and practical

 

I too had the Safari Best Top and sucked doesn't begin to express my dissatisfaction. I bought it from my local 4x4 shop, they installed it and told me they were NOT happy with it. They took pictures of the poor folding of the materials between the from doors and the rear doors of my 4-door and even the REP for Best Top was a total waste of time. Best Tops told me that they had no plans to correct these material flapping issue, so WHY DEAL WITH THEM. They are supose to be a quality manufacturer and after this BAD EXPERIENCE, "Buyer Beware".

I wish someone could shake the tree and let them hear about the reality of their products! My local shop went that extra mile for assistance and they did not care!

This off road hero site is a Joke. You ask about dealers or info on their products or go the extra mile to try to contact them and THEY DON'T respond. I asked them to call me and they emailed me that they were trying to contact a customer in Southern Calif. in which I could talk to them about HIS product and the communications ENDED. I don't feel this guy is responsible....

Look for a TOP mfg who will be there and one that you can contact via telephone.

I have the Bestop Safari Top. Mine does not flap when used with the door channels. However, it fits so tightly you have to work like hell to get it off. I ripped mine doing so. Also, the header channel clamps suck. Yours in the pic above looks much better. I wouldn't buy the Bestop Safari again. But I am done with Bestop forever. Their quality sucks and so does their customer service.

 

OK I took my best top safari model out of my wishlist. Ive heard alot of derogatory remarks about it from other than this blog. Sure wish I could get something like rednecks top online... I will be looking at the model that doesnt require the windshield channel.
