Which Bikini Top?
So, 2 door or 4 door, you'll only get the total seal with the wrap around, then? Do both the regular and wrap-around windjammer come in 2 and 4 door versions?
Yes, you only get a good seal with the Wraparound Windjammer. There is only a two door version. Some folks have fitted it to their four doors by stretching it; others by taking it to an upholstery shop and having additional material added to make it fit. Biggest complaint I've heard about them: The small rear window makes huge blind spots to the rear. I know that last year RescueX was selling his complete, modified (material added) set-up for that very reason. There are several threads here about the modified versions, so you might try search if you're still interested.
I bought the Mopar Bikini, the one for soft top that uses the door surrounds. Love it, 80+ mph on I57 no flapping what so ever. Only thing I wish it was easier to roll like the one for hard tops that doesn't use the door surrounds. I went with this setup for one reading all the posts about the Besttop bikini and how it flapped and didn't cover as well as the mopar in the rear corners. People complain that it costs too much vs the Besttop one. however if you search around you can get a very good deal on it I think mine was $180 to $190 delivered. Not $250.
I also purchased the Best Top wrap Around windjammer for the 2 door for my 4 door. I e-bayed it. It was too much of a pain in the ass to quickly put on and off with the seat belts, not to mention the blind spots it created. I will say I was able to put the wrap around on, attached it to the door surrounds and lock the back seats in place out of the box. It didn't need to be stretched that much. I bet if i had it longer and it was stretched it would have fit very well. The fit out of the box was snug.
I bought the Best Top Duster as well. I put the duster on, made a small dimple in my JK, got pissed and e-bayed it. I kind of miss it. I may either buy another and be more careful in the install or do something custom out of fiberglass. If you buy the duster I suggest putting it in the dryer, to stretch it. The dimple could have occurred during install or just sitting on my JK not sure. The temp in Chicago can change drastically in a matter of hours it could be 80 then drop to 60 in a matter of hours. So if it was stretched then contracted I could see that causing the dimples as well since the plastic is one long piece. I bet if it contracted enough the plastic that connects to the rails would bend into the body. The plastic that attaches to the bed rail that bestop uses is not the same plastic that is the mopar soft top windows. It seems much more rigid and hard. It could have been designed better imo.
I have both the Hard top which i use in the winter and the soft top. I went with this setup for 1. because I liked the look. 2. I thought it would be more convenient then the softtop in the summer. Next summer I plan on running bikini only and some custom job, or another duster cover on the tub. we shall see. If I lineX the tub i will just leave it open and use the bikini only.
My 2 cents.

Good info, Steve. Basically my experience as well (except I've never tried the Wraparound Windjammer). My Duster also caused minor dimpling along the tub--after it had been installed for quite a while. I think that's just the nature of the beast to keep it taut when it's hot out.
I have almost all the soft tops out there, Best top, offroad heros(Ca. tops), Mopar...
Offroad hero's top is the best... it takes me 5 minutes to do anything to it and its held up to my abuse... it never sags in water (Best top sucks at this) and take 2 seconds to change the setup...
Now I dont want anyone to get into the discussion how much Offroad heros sucks at customer service and how hard it is to get the top (takes 4 weeks)
ORH is the only one not in a pile in the corner of my garage all summer, infact if someone would just come pick this mopar softtop square one up, its free

Another Off Road Heroes Superfan. I thought these guys turned out to be shady. This post sounds shady given the closed thread on ORH because of the shady practices etc.
Has this situation changed?
Has this situation changed?
No I think that they closed it because almost everyone that worked with them had the same experience.

WARNING: BUYER BEWARE
The manufacturer of offroad heros is believed to be a Canadian based company called Californiatops. This conclusion was determined by doing research online and by what the author of this post eventually stated in his post here.
Californiatops is a company that has a long history of questionable business practices and they have been banned from eBay and PayPal. This has been documented by the Ripoff Report and can be verified by doing a simple Google search or a search on forums such as JeepsUnlimited.com and RubiconOwners.com. More recently, a member here had purchased a thermal liner from this company while they were still going under the name coloradojeepman and his experience with them can be found here.
I have personally tried contacting this company to acquire a phone number and/or physical address for their stated location in Florida just in case the information I had about them was erroneous and my inquiries were met with hostility and my questions went unanswered. Needless to say, it is our opinion that this company has questionable business practices and would advise against purchasing any of their products.
