Default billit handles

Why is everyone against billet handles? Im on the fence. The black handles get all grey and faded after a few years and the plastic deteriorates. I sort of like the idea of the billit handles.... To bad you couldnt get them anodized in black.

Here is a pic of the X-Games Jeep

Many of us are anti-bling, anti-chrome. I say do what you like as long as you're not hurting anyone.

If you use good product the black will stay black much longer than the handles will stay shiny. FACT.

The only think I don't like about them, besides being chrome, is the price tag. Aren't they like 200 bucks for two or something rediculous like that? making them black would make a world of difference, annodizing or whatever they need to use. Just oo pricey I think.

You just polish the billet once or twice a year and they look brand new.

With the plastic, you have to add a good product after every wash.

The billet would be easy upkeep even for the strickly offroad guys. They would be lots stronger, too.

Im not set on the looks either, but they seem like a good product if you can get past the bling.

I have them on my Black JK and they are way nicer then the cheap plastic ones. They were expensive but worth it. I don't mind a little bling. The first one was a little difficult to install but after I figured it out the next 4 went well.

If you are going to chrome out your Jeep, I think they would look great. If not, I think they would look out of place. Just my .02

Just stick to the theme you are building, and if it's shiny bits you are putting on it, go with the billet handles to match the rest of it.

If you hit a tree with your door handles you are going to have big problems whether the handle breaks or not.
