Default Bilstein or ???

My 08 JKU is really asking for new shocks. I have some fab-techs on it right now but not very happy. I have 6" lift up front and 4+" in the rear.

How about some recommendations and maybe some $$ numbers from the sponsors? I want to make a decision and purchase today.

Thanks

I had Bilsteins before and still do on my truck. I love the shocks, they are very nice and made a big difference in ride for the better. I would also look at the Elka shocks being offered by Tera Flex. I don't know them personally but there has been many a write up. That will be my next shock.

Depending on budget, you'll still want to look at Elka's, Fox's, King's, along with the Bilsteins. Those are all solid shocks.

Been running the Bilstein 5100s for 6K miles. lovin' the ride off and on road. Just upgraded my steering stabilizer to a bilstein.

Bilsteins will be your biggest bang for your buck. Great shocks and comparable to the much higher dollar Elkas.

Default Bilsteins

Been running Bilsteins for almost a year, bought them on a get one free sale. Great investment.

I vote for OME. They control the ride and offer good articulation on the trail. They are softer than bilstein

But does OME even make a shock for a 6" lift?

The tallest I found was for 3.5-5" of lift.
