Default bilstein 5100 advice

I'm looking at either doing a TF 2.5BB or the 2.5coil lift with the bilstein 5100 and was wondering what people think of the TF coil lift and bilstein 5100 set up any pro's or cons with either set up this jk is my daily driver won't get used a lot for off road or so I do care a lot about the ride due to it being my DD

I run 5100s and find them just a touch too firm for pavement but solid on trails. If you're mostly concerned with road comfort skip any monotube (5100s, fox etc) and just get a nice soft twin tube.

I run 5100's on my DD without any complaints. It rides nicer than other jeeps with the TF and RC shocks that I've been in. By DD I should clarify/ quantify my experience by saying I average 28k miles a year.

Great fit and finish though! And I have a 2 door, light rig. If you have a heavier unlimited it'll probably smooth things out

I'm that friend and I have to admit, I like it a lot. Feels good on road and works well off. I haven't had any complaints yet. Except from people who are used to riding in luxury SUV's who think my jeep should ride the same as their SUV.

I have the 2.5 coil with 5100's and like it, no complaints at all. Ride is great.

I also run this setup (TF 2.5 coils with 5100's) and have no complaints. I just had it installed two weeks ago. It rides same as stock or smoother. It yeilded 3" inches or more lift in the front and 2.5 in the rear. I have a stubby in the front with no which. My ride sits level now. Things to consider - I moved the evap skid over to one bolt- easy fix, and removed my tranny skid bar as it would probably interfer with the axle. I'm planning to get the rock hard replacement tranny/oil skid - it should work with this setup. Other than that you should be very happy with the results. Enjoy!
