Default Bilstein 5100 or Fox Racing 2.0 Shocks?

I was ready to pull the trigger on some Bilstein 5100's based on everybody's reviews on here but then I opened Quadratec's seasonal porn mag and came across the Fox Racing 2.0 shocks. I'm familiar with Fox's quality in the mountain bike arena but I'm not sure about their automotive prowess.

Anybody have these? Opinions?

I'm looking for a more comfortable on road ride and the Fox's are listed as Soft-Medium where as the Bilsteins are listed as Medium-Firm.

I'm in a similar boat. Anyone with input on either of these shocks?

From what I understand the fox will be a little firmer than the Bilstein. Since mine is a daily driver I am going Bilstein. My buddies who have the 5100 have no complaints

I am in the same boat and noticed the same thing in the Quadratec Catalog between all the shocks. OME's are also considered a Soft-Medium shock, and based on that along with how everyone love's OME shock's makes me think that the Fox shocks are gonna be very similar. Then again you can't go wrong with Bilstein's for the simple fact that they have been proven for years.

Decisions, decisions...

It's hard to beat a Bilstein. They pretty much have the shock business down. My 2 cents.
