Bilstein Shocks
I want a 2-2.5inch lift (doest matter who) but i really want the bilstein shocks. I am new to Jeeps but have been reading, watching threads about shocks and everybody says bilstein are the best. Where can i get a budget boost with bilstein shocks?
Can i get say a TF 2.5 and get the shocks somewhere else? Fill me in on where and what to get.
Want to put 33's or 35's but dont want to break front axle (Dana 30)
BTW i have read that Rubicon Express uses Edelbrock instead of Bilstein now....that prob. elliminates some responses
Another question. Why is the OME 2" lift so much? fill me in on this one.

The OME lift does seem expensive, but is well worth the $$. I had one on my TJ and got around 3.5" out of it and loved it, but I bought it for the difference in ride. Most of the JK guys with OME are saying they are getting around 3" from theirs. The thing with OME is you can't consider it a "lift kit", it is a suspension system. It really comes with nothing more than springs and shocks, but the ride, handling, and articualtion is night and day over competitors. I intend to switch to OME springs and shocks when i get my taxes this year.
As far as the Bilsteins, I would go with OME shocks on a Jeep any day over Bilsteins. Not that Bilstein isn't an excellent shock, but OME's work so well, ride great, and are about the same price.
