is it necesary to disconnect the batery before lift the body?,..

ok, thanks so much, this is exactly the BL i purchased. I´ll desconect the airbag before start the install.

Otherwise, i´m thinking that there would be a little gap between the grille and the front bumper, isn´t it?

As a general rule it is normally wise to disconnect the battery before doing much of any modifying on a vehicle, anything electrical is a no brainer, but when your messing with the frame (or anything else that MIGHT have a ground strap nearby) the extra minute and a half (if that) to disconnect the battery is just plain worth it.
