Black Diamond 3" causing JK to lean to one side...
I recently purchased a 2009 Unlimited Rubicon (6-speed) and went through the dealership for after-market. Wheels, tires, lift, exhaust, nav, tint, etc.
I've owned it for 3 weeks but only drove it for the first two days.
Anyway, long story short, I am being told by the dealership that the Jeep is "leaning to the side" after installing the 3" lift. I haven't been able to see it yet but I am going up there tomorrow guns blazing and wanted to check with the community to see if they had ever heard of such a thing. Anyone seen this behavior from a suspension lift before or heard anything about the Black Diamond causing this? Or is my dealership dealing with morons (they apparently outsource the suspension work to another shop).
Any tips on why this might be happening if it is in fact happening? I saw some discussion earlier about leaving off the cam bolts provided with the kit but didn't understand why anyone would do this.
Thanks in advance.

All jk's tend to lean to one side a little, it's just more noticable with a lift, gas tank is on the passenger side. Extreme lean could be any number of things, bad spring, not seated, missing a spacer yada yada.
Mine never seems to have a noticeable lean but i have a 2dr. I have heard that since the gas tank is on the passenger side that when you have a full tank it may cause a slight lean. Im not sure if the 4drs have a bigger tank but that may contribute.
I have the 3" Black Diamond lift on a 2008 two door. No lean at all but I did use ajustable track bars with hemi link ends. There is really no reason a lift should lean right to left. I would hope that if Warn industries knew about an increased load on one side of the Jeep they would have used some type of veriable rate spring to over come the issue. As stated by others I would look it over real hard some thing is not right if your rig leans to one side.

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback. The salesman overseeing the after market installs said it was leaning about 1/2" so this must be what was going on. What a relief. I guess I can chalk it up to their inexperience with jeep lifts. Thanks again all.
