Im looking to black out the ENTIRE jeep ad was wondering If anyone has theirs tinted with film or with the rattle can light tint. I've use the rattle can stuff before and its ok I guess proably a tad arker that what I would want but I might of put it on my rear aux. lights a tad too think. and im looking for more of a darker smoke color. I found some taillight lenses and front signal lenses on Ebay that was decent price and looked good? anyone running these?

I'm thinking about getting some of the Night Shades spray tint for my tails and turn signals. Yeah I know it has no function, but I like the look. Is that the stuff you have used before?

yes I have used it before on my dodge truck. I have 2 driving light on the back of it to help loading trailers and stff and I have a cop pull me over saying that wasn't legal... (young probly newbie) so I spraye them but I think I got it too thick... they weren't very bright... but I was wondering who else has thi on there jeep and how id they do it? Im going for just a light tint proably so they have a smoked experience but still work just fine

Go recon has the smoked LED tail lights that look awesome and LED smoaked turn signals as well , they are on my list of mods once i get a few other things first, and yes they are a lil pricey but ive had friends do the tinting and painting and it always seems to fade, chip , or scratch off . Im not hating on the idea i jus wouldnt like having to keep re-doing it all the time. And as far as headlights truck lite has some smoaked LED headlights but once again they are pricey but i think all of them would be worth it . Also ive got smoaked fog light lenses i found them on ebay and put the gorecon 5600k halogen bulbs in them to match my HIDs.

Sprayed all mine. Mine are DARK.. You could easily go lighter than this.

I have the smoked ones from ebay. No problems with them so far and they look great.

I have the eBay side markers and parking lights. I hit the taillights with two coats of nightshades and still bright enough. Here is the sidemarker and parking light.

JUST FYI:: A friend of mine just got rear ended in his F250. He had spray tinted tail lights. The insurance companies held him a fault and his own insurance company refused to cover the damage because the lights were not original to the vehicle they did not glow red and were not reflective. They said there has to be a certain square inch percentage that reflects red on the rear of the vehicle. If the lights are tinted a red reflective strip has to be added to the vehicle. So far the estimate for the other vehicle is $9000. that doesn't count the damage to his car.
