Default On board air...?

Anyone have a good system to recommend? I've looked at the Viair systems but they might be overkill for the amount of wheeling I do and filling up a few tubes to float down the river.

What about tank mounting options? Are you using cabin space or can you find room under the hood?

Thanks guys
RJ

Check out the ARB pump, mostly self contained, it's the one I've decided on at least.

What's the budget?

Lots of options out there, but this is an arb setup from northridge that a many of us are using. Includes compressor, under-hood mounting bracket, tire inflation, gauge, etc. The big plus to it is that you are already set up if you ever decide to add air lockers.

And an install write-up so you can see where the compressor mounts

Here's what I've used for the past 6 years. Compact and self contained, plus it's not bolted to the Jeep meaning I can just put it in any vehicle I'm in. Been a real life saver a few times.

I went with a similar approach to what ECHO did, however I went cheaper on the pump and realize I need to upgrade a bit. If I try to fill all 4 tires, I need to give it a rest between each one. Compressor was $29 and the bracket was $25. I did redrill the manifold on the compressor to accept a standard quick coupler.

If anyone has a 2012 I don't think you can mount one under the hood, as there is zero room. Just fyi.
