Default on board air?

I'm looking into getting an OBA system. However i have no idea what to get. I will mostly be using it for airing up after trail riding and maybe eventually a set of air horns. I also wouldn't mind using some tools maybe an air gun to take those lugs off quicker, or an air ratchet. Also the other problem I would encounter would be that I have 2 12" subs in the back that take om a lot of room so I'm not quite sure where I would install a tank. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance!!

I've got the ARB compressor. Fits nicely under the hood. I don't have a tank yet but I'm thinking maybe one could be tucked up front somewhere. Maybe under the rad and behind the bumper or something. Fairly small tank but probably fine for a trail fix or something. Good luck!

A compressor with a tank will work, but if you really want to run tools, you'll be much better off with something like the Kilby system.

Woods/ dominion off road kit is great. The compressor and tank mount under the hood and with the two gallon tank you can run air tools and train horns with air to spare!!!! Plus your not giving up any of your valuable cargo area.

There are several versions of the arb compressor. The little one is lockers-only, the middle one is lockers and tire inflation, the new one is like two of the middle sized ones put together.

Northridge put together a nice kit that includes an under-hood mounting bracket for the compressor.

Several companies also have mounting brackets to put a tank under the radiator. I'll be adding this to my arb setup (the one above) at some point.

What bracket did you use to mount your compressor? I have the same one.

I have a Viair compressor mounted under the hood, and a 2.5 gallon tank mounted on the rear rollbar. It doesn't take up any cargo room, and I can mount one on the other side if I wanted 5 gallons total.

That's exactly what I use mine for. Got it from Northridge. Came with a mounting plate and I got an air hose and a bunch of different nozzles and ends for it.
