Default On board air

I am looking to purchase an on board air system for my 09 unlimited rubicon. I am not sure if it would be good idea to have a tank or just have the compressor. Where I live there is mostly mud trails around here so I was not for sure about mud getting all over the tank would that harm it over time. Mostly I would use it for airing up my tires and maybe put air lockers in down the road. I did like the idea of using air tools if needed to be done on the trail to fix something. I would just like some feed back on what everyone is running on their jeeps.

thanks

I added the tank with a Viair 400C so I could use air tools if needed. It works pretty well.

Take a look at the kits from both Northridge 4x4 and Dominion Offroad.

What he said. The Dominion starter kit is perfect for airing up!

Also don't forget how awesome it is to blow out your Jeep at the end of the day.

You guys should look into an ac conversion. About 7cfm at idle. And it climbs linearly. You will lose ac tho.
