Default On Board Air Compressor

Hey guys I am looking for a cheap compressor to mount in the engine bay. I am only going to use it to refill the tires after I air down on the trails, but i dont want it to take forever. Any suggestions? Thanks and happy jeepin'!

I beleive in the vendor section there is a mounting bracket phot on one of the threads that seems reasonable. I bought a carry bag unit at autozone that fills the tire in just a few minutes. It's no CO2 canister but it gets the job done and I inspect things while it airs up.

I can check the brand that I have when I get out to the jeep tonight and I'll post up if it's something any of the sponsored vendors carry. The ARB compressor I think Dave or Quadratec carry and there are mounts out there to put it in the engine compartment.

By the way does it have to be in the engine bay? That generally means it's not going to be cheap.

I guess it does not have to be on board, however because I have a 2-door i need all the space I can get. So mounting it somewhere is preferable. I don't want to have to wait forever while the tires fill up either. I also inspect my vehicle while airing up but I dont want it to take forever.

Bought mine from a junkyard for 35 bux... came off a town car and works great.

Here are some of the pics of the horn and compressor (yes my engine compartment is dirty as hell) and a video of the horn going off.
