I got their front skid plate...thinking of getting the bumper to go with. It has been on for a few months and no issues.

Their packaging/instructions sucked a little, but can be figured out! The customer service was good though!

I have BA rock sliders. They are holding up pretty well andI have landed on them once with minor damage. I am happy with the quality of their products for the $$$.

The rear bumper is awesome! Really looks great. I must say I like the way it is mounted and the weight issue of having a swingout tire on it shouldn't be a problem! They mount it by placing a frame insert and two giant bolts on each side, it also uses the 4 stock bolts, and can be used with the factory hitch. I put a couple d-rings on there and it looks awesome. It doesn't protect the sides, and in some states you will need to get mud flaps because it tapers up on the ends leaving a lot of tire showing. I got mine shipped for under 300 dollars new, so for the bucks it really is awesome!
As far as the old quality line "you get what you pay for"... have you looked at the prices for high quality TJ or XJ or CJ bumpers? Many times almost half the price as the JK... same names, just as much metal, same old everything just 40% more expensive for a JK...

So I don't think it is impossible for these company's to build quality stuff for a JK at lower prices, they just don't want to sell them that inexpensive!

This bumper is heavy, powdercoated, and fit perfect... I did not buy the swing out... but it can be added to the combo... the whole combo being under 600 dollars. Not a bad deal!

where did you find the whole combo rr bumper and tire carrier for under 600. I just thought i got a pretty good deal on the front off of ebay for 310. then ordered the front skid from quadratec for 109

I had all body armor on my 05 unlimited rails and front and rr bumper and they were very solid and never had any issues and they got used and abused.

For those who have the rear bumper, what is the latch system like? Does it rattle at all, and how smooth is the swing?

I'm trying to decide between the Body Armor and Smittybilt rear bumper. Definitely going with the Body Armor front.

The Latch is good on mine I run the 37BFG krawler on mine. I have no rattle with that big of a tire! We are modding the rear to as soon as we get done I will post some pictures. I will sell these add ons when done. Thats all I will say for now don't want to spoil the picture.

I have those too, but I don't like how the bolt's dig into the pinch weld. Mine are starting to rust a little where it flaked off the paint. I see you painted them though, maybe that helps.

Shoot a PM to Bustabizz (Bryan), he gave me a good deal on the new rear, yes under 600 for the bumper and carrier. Picked it up at the local 4 Wheel Parts so no shipping charges.
