Default Body Armor Front Bumper?

I see 4wd has Body Armor bumpers w/ a free winch plate. Anyone with experience? Anyone used it as a jack-point?

I really want a bumper that looks good but is functional. The Mopar bumper looks great (winch sits IN the bumper), but looking at it, would be difficult to use with a Hi-Lift.

Thanks for the insight in advance...

Default Body Armor triple hoop bumper w/winch

I was probably one of the 1st to install the Body Armor on my JK......still pretty happy with it. Very stout setup and it worked great with my Blue Ox towbar during the Fall hunting season. Shouldn't be a problem with the Hi-lift jack.

I don't think that I'll be able to remove the grill with the winch in place, so I'll have to replace headlights from the backside. Hope they unplug like other vehicles.......

You might also be partial to the low set winch like some other bumpers, but this setup will allow a lot of airflow from under the winch plate to the radiator.

Default Kidding?

Why would I "kid" about that? Some people may have a concern about airflow with a winch that sits that high, but you'll notice that there is considerable space under the winch plate and the bumper where air can reach the radiator (since there isn't a skid plate blocking the flow).

Disagree if you want, but I was just pointing it out......and no I didn't do an area analysis to see what the difference would be from a low mounted winch.

Have a nice day!

I'm also a fan of the front bumper. I've got some lights on it now, the pic is a little old.

I realy like my Shrockworks Stubby Front Bumper

The Winch mounts inside it and it and lowers it a lot more than the one you are asking about.

The lower the winch angle the better.

Radiator is not blocked as much either.

I have pulled so many people out this winter jerking and winching.

I like to hook to the front and jerk them out that way so I can see what is going on.

I have abused it and I am very happy with it.
