Default Body Armor Mid-Width Stubby Bumper INSTALLED

Just installed the body armor mid width stubby on the front of I was unsure on the mid width look, but I think it works great.

Very easy install, no movement of the vacuum pump on 2012+ (mines a 2012) didn't have to drill either! As simple as unbolting the stock bumper and bolting in this one. Also added a harbor freight winch on. I'll use it til it breaks down and probably upgrade to a better brand.

Very pleased with the end result. A few things...
1-There's a decent gap behind the bumper showing the frame rail, I'll reuse the stock cover. It fits perfect.
2- it may just be me, but I find the Jeep tends to ride better. Not as bouncy on the road. May just be my excitement. Haha

I was unsure on Body Armor since I don't see many people that run them. But especially for the price. I've been extremely impressed with how easy it went on. The installation instructions weren't even needed!

That looks awesome.

I'm looking around at tire carrier/rear bumper combos and body armor is very high in the list.

If you go this route, just be aware to have grease for packing the bearings and patience to set it up correctly. A lot of people rush it and then don't know why it's crooked or rattles. No rattles at all but I'm readjusting the handle down again tomorrow before wheeling just in case

Thanks for the heads up! I'll be sure to get it done correctly, might pack my wheel bearings at the same time while I'm at it.
