Default Body armor swing arm help?!?

Hey everyone. So I bought a body armor rear bumper and tire carrier and the directions say to insert the large bearing... Done. Insert the seal... Done. Put the carrier on... Not done.. The bearing doesn't fit over the pivot post and I'm not sure what to do now. The post is too big around... Anybody with this bumper have this issue? Thoughts?

I tried and their phone service completely failed. I ended up with a mass amount of random parts and missing ones. Now I'm waiting for a call back. I also have no idea how the bearings even go in. There were no instructions with it.

Random parts that came with the original bumper or have you already been down the customer service road?

Which bumper are you working with?

FYI, your lucky.
Iv had mine for about a year and when I bought it, the bearing position illistration wasnt on the instructions.
Iv had to replace the bearings once already.
I just bought the Hi Lift adaptor kit for the carrier.
Cant mount it in a vertical position unless the gas can carrier is installed.
Good luck.

Damn I was thinking about getting that kit too. I had issues tightening the swing arm down because the more I tightened the castle nut, the more the carrier dropped at an angle. When it was finally tightened, the carrier wouldn't come up far enough to rest on the plate and latch, so I had to loosen it quite a bit. Now the carrier drops about an inch or so when I take it off the bumper. There's All of this on top of the bracket that's holds the tire on which has been welded incredibly crooked so it looks like the carrier is sagging. I love the bumper and hinge set up but I had too many problems with the install of both bumpers so this may be my last time buying from that company.

FWIW, they include two setups with the adaptor.
One for vertical mount and one goes behind the tire horizontally.
Im thinking about trying that mount and see how it works,
Honestly, when I got my setup, the instructions didnt have the picture of how
the bearings are supposed to go together. Just written info.
Iv got a new set of bearings that Im going to
install when I get a chance and see if it makes any difference.
Hopefully, it does.
As for the sagging, the manufacturer was shipping spacers for
the bottom of the swing that were supposed to cure the droop.
You might contact them and see what they say.
