Default Body leveling...

OK, so I'm new and need some help. I want to level the body of my '10 sport. I have read several threads about it but am still unsure what I need to do. Just buy a leveling kit and if so, whose? Leveling kit and springs? Not looking to lift anything yet, just level. All help is appreciated (sp).

If you just want to level your rig all you need is a 3/4 to 1" spacer for your front coils. You can get those for about $40 from teraflex or daystar. Another option is the teraflex leveling kit. It runs $160. I just put one in last Friday. Took a couple hours with hand tools. I'm no mechanic either. It will raise your front end 2" and your rear by 1". Levels the rig and gives it just a bit of lift. Looks great. I'd post pics but I haven't taken any yet. The tf leveling kit along with some spidertrax wheel spacers really gives a stock jk a more agressive appearance.
My 2 vents.

this...http://northridge4x4.com/proddetail....953075&cat=273

OR this....

the second option will give you a better stance and level it out. i would opt for option 2. 119.00 shipped from northridge4x4.com.

If I go with option 2, it is offered with "front disconnect hardware" for $50 more. What is that and do I need it?

if you plan to offroad, you will want to disconnect your front swaybar when on the trail. the disconnect hardware allows you to do this without tools. i would forgo the $50 TF hardware and get some JKS quicker disconnects.

There's a lot of opinions on the best/fastest way to do this install and here's mine. Devote an afternoon to it and ask a friend or two for help in return for a couple beers. Check that you have wrench's,jack & jack stands necessary and most of all BE SAFE!

with hand tools and without a helper, you are looking at 3-4 hours. with a helper, maybe 2-3.5 depending on skill level. it is not a hard job, just time consuming.

Default Leveling Kit

I have had the Teraflex leveling kit on my 2007 for over a year and no problems to report so far. Love the look, completely leveled it out, even with a LOD midwidth bumper and winch sitting on the front.

Install took me around 6 hours working by myself. It was not hard, just my first time doing any suspension work. Needed to use a pry bar to get springs in and out, probably the most difficult part. Would have been easier with a spring compressor, which I think you can rent, but I got it done without. Make sure to droop the suspension as far as you can. I removed the brake line from the supports front and rear to get as much droop as possible.

Good luck.
