So I noticed that my front and rear DS was throwing a little grease. I thought it was probably torn boots but when I looked closer it seems to be coming through the ring the boots not torn. What do I need to do??

You are running somewhere around 2.5 inches of lift? Just keep an eye on the grease splatter. Some folks have reported a little grease spitting out after the lift just due to the new angles, but no long term negative effects. If you start seeing a thick ring of grease on the undercarriage, or see (hear) that the joint no longer has grease, then it will be time to look at the options.

Or just go ahead and replace it. You know you want to...

Lol, I have the RK 2.5 flex system on my 2 door. It gave me about 3.5 of lift. It's been on for about a year now and I was just looking under it for no reason and seen some grease thrown on the top. Front and back. I was like shit!! I would love to replace but jeez $$. Some guys told me my boot was prob torn but it's not it's slipping through the ring. :-(

Is this something I need to be worried with? Since the boot is not torn?

Ah, saw rubi coils and spacers on your profile. Don't know if it would help, but you can find rebuild kits somewhere on Quadratecs website. There have been a few posts where guys have used them instead of buying new shafts. Or maybe just spit some grease back in and look for a different/better clamp? Probably just short term solutions, and you should be setting money aside.

Gotchya thanks, I just think it's weird that the front and rear starting doing it at the same time. The grease is really fresh. I went mud riding Sunday nothing to serious, I went up a pretty steep incline, the fresh grease is thrown over the mud so I was maybe thinking that it put to much pressure on the shafts and some came out. Idk

Yep. I do. Boots not torn but there is some grease splatter. Been that way for a year or so and hasnt really gotten any worse. Im just gonna keep running it till the joint starts making noise or i have some extra money burning a hole in my pocket and spurge on a new driveline. To me there is not really much sense it trying to repair the inevitable, just replace with better stuff.

Thanks that's what I was wondering, I'm gonna keep a close eye on it and see if it progresses. I wiped the few splatters off so I can monitor. Really don't want to drop $500 on a DS right now with summer coming up and have to put my boat in the shop for maintenance! $$ :-(
