Borla Exhaust
Well, the Borla is out, at least the shop I work with has some anyhow, seems like no one else does. That is the good news, the bad news, over $ 1100.00. A little steep even for Borla! While it is Borla as well as a dual exit exhaust, two things I really like (I have had Borla on 5 different vehichles now) this is ridiculous! Hopefully they will drop the price. I really like Borla and the dual exit exhaust but can't justify that price. They have not installed any yet so have no testatement to sound or power. We shall see, or maybe not, at that price... Hoping for a good dual exit cat back system at a reasonable price, Borla had half of it right, now if they cut their price in half they will get the other right...
Wow! $1100?
Yeah, I love my Borla on the TJ and when I had trouble with it they were great in sending out a new one.
I'm still anxious to hear/see it though. No way I would spend anything near that much.
Heck, might as well just put a 5.7L in instead

Found this post a few days ago and copied to my JK file on laptop. Wish I would have pasted a link, but here is a copy. It addreses exhaust to. PS My compliments to the author!!
The results are in.. I’ll keep this as short and sweet as I can..
Test and configurations were made to my 2007 Jeep Wrangler 4D Rubicon..
1st. Dyno run
Bone Stock = 198.7hp / 231.3tq
First we installed a Magna Flow True Dual Exhaust system keeping the stock catalytic converts in place..
2nd. Dyno run
Dual Exhaust System = 212.3hp / 241.1tq
Then we removed the dual system and re-installed the 2 into 1 collector and just ran a single back to a Magna Flow 6” x 18” muffler and then straight back..
3rd. Dyno run
Single Exhaust System = 213.8hp / 246.8tq
Obviously the Single System yielded much better results.. That is what stayed on.. And let me tell you the Sound is awesome..
Now the easy stuff AEM Brute Force Intake System.. Very Clean install..
4th. Dyno run
Single Exhaust System with AEM intake = 220.1hp / 250.7tq
Last but not least.. We installed the Jet Performance Stage II chip.. My initial thought process on this one was I wasted my money.. But the Dyno tell the truth..
5th Dyno run
Single Exhaust with AEM intake and Jet Performance Stage II chip
Final Results = 231.9hp / 258.8tq
Overall Gains = 33.2 HP / 27.5 TQ

it sounds good. I'm working on getting a "sound bite" to post in the thread I just made about the exaust here https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...26780post26780
borla set up for an h3 w/ dual outlet on borla website is $1100, do a froogle search and find it for around $750...so there is hope that the jeep exhaust will be lower altho 750 is still too high, get it down under 500 and we're golden

I'm not made out of money, but you guys must be... I like the Flowmaster Super 60 for $100 welded to the original tubing with a 90 degree turn down. Grand Total with labor: $125
And the sound isn't loud, just a mellow rumble like thunder in the distance...
