I had a Borla dual exhaust set-up on my Tundra (4.7L i-Force V8)...single muffler, and dual exit. I was very pleased with the result. Good pick-up and a well balanced rumble sound effect. I have also heard the Gibson is a respectable set-up. Bassani is GREAT for tuners and domestic...but I don't think they make a Jeep set-up (at least not yet).

I went with the Borla axle back and I am very happy with the results!! I did not go with a catback (meaning catalyct converter back) because I couldn't see any difference (except for the factory dent) from stock in the piping to the muffler. I did not go dual because of the loss of bottom end torque and Borla recommended this was the way to go. The sound is fantastic, low rumble at idle but really opens up when you put your foot into it. I found that my gas mileage has also improved, if I can keep my lead foot away from floor! I found the tone of the Borla (sound bite at their website), the kind of performance that I wanted, improved mileage and quality the reasons I went with Borla. Pricey but I think it was worth it.

I have the borla dual exhaust and i can really only hear it when its started and i'm standing behind it. I didn't want something really loud or god forbid sounds like a ricer. But I love my borla.

I had Borla on my Lumina Z34 and I loved them, great low growl and not ricey.
I'd really like to hear some Borla's on a jeep in person.

This is with a borla stainless steel axle-back exhaust, but I also have an Airaid CAI installed. Although I really don't think that makes much of a difference though, because most of the clip is taken from the rear.
