Above is true for some synthetic lines. Masterpull lines come with a 12 foot heat shield to protect the line from the drum, polished fairlead for synthetic line, stainless thimble, powdercoated snaphook, heavy duty everything. Safe to swap on a steel cable winch.
The cable causes burrs on everything it touches. Nothing against MasterPull but it's going to take more than those parts before I would make that swap...

So received a cover today, wired up a power switch, and the replacement cable is coming. Some of the strands on the original cable were gouged/cut. This was a nightmare to unspool. Ended up strapping to a concrete post and reversing slowly to unspool. Was barely able to do it, rear tires broke loose at one point. Probably the only time that will ever happen lol.
