Default Brake Issue

Today I mounted the ARB air compressor mount I got from Dave at Northridge during their big sale the end of August. The first step in mounting the bracket is to remove the nuts and pull out the brake master cylinder to allow the bracket to fit behind that. As I was pulling out the master there was a brief hissing sound. I got the bracket mounted but when I moved the Jeep the brakes were not feeling right at all. They were stopping me, but I had to apply a great deal of pressure to the pedal and it was slow to stop. (And thanks to WOL for the great write-up on the install of the ARB compressor!!)

I am not the most experienced with brakes, so any input would be greatly appreciated. Tomorrow morning I will start by bleeding all four lines, but after that...any ideas in case that doesn't work?

sound like your brake booster vaccum hose got unseated a bit. that will be the big hose attached to the bing round thing your master cylinder is attached to. make sure that it's seated properly and things should be better again.
