Default Brake Line Brackets

I just ordered a Rough Country 2.5 coil lift and opened the box today. I asked to add brake line brackets to the kit, thinking I'd get rear brackets with hardware. Instead I got front and rear brackets with no hardware. So I now have two questions:
1. Do I really need front brake line brackets with a 2.5" lift?
2. What hardware do I need?

Thanks.

Default Too many holes

Yes, you can use the OEM hardware for the brakets, but there are two holes and only one bolt. So I guess a better question is what is the OEM hardware? Hopefully I can find something similar at Home Depot.

You use the stock bolt that goes to your frame for the top of the bracket, all you need then is a short bolt and nut for the bottom hole where the brakeline drops down to.

On my homemade bracket, I just used the stock bolt on the top, and bought a stainless bolt with nylock nut (and a couple of washers) for the bottom.

I did not extend my brake lines on the front. When installing the springs, I had to pull loose the ABS wire, but only after jacking the axle down to where the spring finally would slip in. The brake line never got tight, so I am hoping that there is no issues here or I will probably have my springs drop out at the same time I rip a brake line.

Most people don't need the frts on a 2.5 BB, just the rear but if you have a coil lift, I'd put the frts on to be safe.
