brake line smooshed...
So after a weekend of wheeling, I was going over all my bolts and checking the underside of my jeep and noticed this

My rear driver side brake line must have gotten squished between my bump stump? Not exactly sure what happened.
It's steel and my brakes work fine. Is this something I should replace or will it be fine? Not sure if there is a way I could secure it out of the way of my bumpstops...any suggestions?
Here is a pic of the undamaged side

I bet you already know the answer to your question. Just think about it. You have damaged the one component on your Jeep that keeps you from smashing into the rear of other cars and that holds you back from flying over a cliff if it fails. With as much sarcasm as I can muster, I say "no don't worry about it. You always have the emergency brake if you need to stop quickly".
I know brake lines are not cheap, but they are worth the price. I would recommend that you get a new set and install both. When you replace them, take the opportunity to replace the brake fluid and tie the lines out of the way. Then take the old/good line and put it in your spare parts bag, toss the squished one in the trash.
I have a setup similar to yours and I use a tiewrap that goes around the shock to hold the excess line out of the way.

Sorry for the jack ass reply... Ha. Look at that, my pic is sideways as well.

All modern cars have a split reservoir brake pump. If one brake line fails, you will loose pressure on two wheels but will have full functioning brakes on the other two. Usually they are cross split diagonally.
Something to think while waiting for your new lines.

I messaged the shop I got them from and should, hopefully, get them shipped out tomorrow or Friday.
Are you sure about the diagonal split? I thought it was split front/rear. I can't imagine trying to stop with only one front brake working, it would either force you into oncoming traffic or into a ditch.
