Default Brake lines

So I guess when I put on my new front brake line I did something wrong, it seems to be leaking from the braided part when it goes into the fitting. Is there a way to fix that? Or did I screw up the whole line and need to replace it?

I just changed my front brake lines to Crown not too long ago. Same thing happened to me. What you can do is unscrew / take it apart again and push the nut up from the line. You will notice the metal line has some kind of taper. If you look into your aftermarket brake line you will notice there is a little protrusion in the line where the tapered part of the metal line fits into. Make sure the two pieces are flushed together, add some Teflon tape on the nut/screw and tighten as much as you can without over tightening / cross threading it....

....Hope that helps you, it did for me....Good luck......

Will I have to bleed the lines again after this?

So I can reuse the same lines right? I won't have to get a new line?

Correct, you can use the same line and have to bleed the brakes again. Start on the passenger side first then work yourself to the drivers side. Also be sure that the brake reservoir doesn't not run out of brake fluid (Dot 3) while you are bleeding the brakes. When all is done top off your brake fluid in the reservoir....
