Default Brake modification

With all the issues of the anti-skid and the ESP, has anyone given a thought to removing the entire master cylinder assembly and replacing it all with an older model straight brake manifold and new lines to the wheels. Would this have any effect on the computer, since there is no input data to the computer, will it even miss it. Just a thought. It sure would make for more reliable braking during all conditions(as long as you are able to maintain control of your Jeep in the first place)
