Default Brake pedal goes to the floor....???

About a week ago I installed a 2.5 Rock Krawler Max Travel Lift as well as all 4 brake lines 2 FRONT and 2 REARS... I discovered that the front left brake line was leaking... Contacted RK and they told me they shipped out some defective lines. After receiving the 2 front brake lines I decided to replace them today. (only time I had time)

Took them to a buddies shop threw my rig in the air and preceded to replace the brake lines only the front, As the rear brake lines were done in the first place and never showed any problems of leakage. I finished installing the break lines and tightened everything up and then started to bleed the 2 front brakes starting with the front passenger side then moved to the driver side front brake line. Pumped all the air out of the lines. Filled the brake reservoir with brake fluid to the MIN Line then proceeded to drive home on the highway I noticed that the brake pedal was about half way to the floor and my brakes felt a little soft, however after pumping the brakes a few times they automatically felt better... so I found my self pumping my brakes all the way home

The only consclusion I can come up with is one of 2 things?

1. Need to fill the Brake fluid resevoir to MAX level.

or

2. Need to Bleed rear brakes as well :O( ---- (Which Means Bleeding all my brakes again!!!)

Any light on this subject would be greatly appreciated thanks!!!

I would bleed all four. Sounds like there is still air in the system.

You should definitely bleed the rear as well, start with the back right and work your way up.

I would bleed the brake lines then check to make sure you still have some pad left.

Just went through this last night until 1:00am after changing out pads rear rotors and 2 bad calipers. One front, one in the back. Bled the brakes 3 times and could not get the proper pedal feel back till I read this: http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-write-...ng-your-brakes I had been bleeding front to back. Bled as described in the write up and my pedal came back like magic!

When bleeding brakes u always want to start from the farthest wheel from the master cyl.. Right rear.. Followed by left rear, right front and left front.
