Ok so I have read a couple of threads about this issue but no one has an answer or fix for it?? I have a 2015 lift JKU the brake pedal has some play in it that the dealer says is normal? It rattles in the worst way and you can feel in in the steering wheel. Does anyone have a detailed fix for this.

It drives me crazy. But no one seems to have a fix and the dealership won't address it.

I usually just lift up on the pedal with my foot when on washboard roads. I have looked at various ways of fixing it and just by the design of the brake pedal/pivot not much can be done with it. my 13 and 14 both have had the same issue.

Mine doesn't rattle per say, but it does have a squeeky squishy sound when I tap it. Anyone else encountering that?

Easy easy easy fix for 6 speed guys. Put a thick rubber band around clutch and brake pedal. No more rattle!

I did the same on my automatic, but used my aftermarket dead pedal to the brake pedal, and the rattle is all gone till I can figure something better.

Yup

Looked at the pedal assembly and to me that was the only easy way to solve the rattle

Gets my foot tired trying to hold it up
