There's 4 bolts on the engine side as well? I'll have to look for those, maybe that will loosen things up enough so I can move the booster and get these nuts on the inside centered.

Dude!!! You're a savior!!! You can take out the booster by removing the 4 nuts from inside the cabin OR by removing the 4 nuts in the engine compartment as well. The engine compartment nuts secure the adapter plate to the firewall, and the nuts inside the cabin secure the booster to the adapter plate.

The funny thing was, is that I took off those nuts inside the engine compartment and tried to hammer the booster down into place so the nuts inside would center inside those holes and it wouldn't budge. So I made my own specialty socket that I mentioned previously and I was able to loosen 2 of the inside nuts a smidget turn at a time to break the lock of 2 of the inside nuts and while I was loosening one of those nuts with my specialty socket wrench, suddenly the booster dropped. It seems I applied enough pressure from the inside that it broke the rubber seal that was still holding the booster up...LOL!!!

It sounds like it's time I go read those instructions!!!.

Thanks for pointing these out to me. I totally missed them because they're covered up by the wire harness fasteners.

I ran into another bump in the road with this Mopar kit.

I went to install the new brake line hoses and these hoses have a bracket in the center of the line. I looked all over and can't find where this bracket is supposed to mount. My current brake hoses don't have this bracket and they don't show any pictures of a mounting point in the install instructions. It also seems this is a change from the early kits, because others who have posted pics didn't have this bracket on the brake hose.

It also looks like there was a part number revision of the kit contents for these brake line hoses.

On my '12 it mounts to the underside of the coil spring bracket. There's a slot the tab fits in and then the the bracket swings into place and aligns with a pre-drilled hole for a bolt. If you're lifted you may have to get a brake line drop bracket or these lines may be too short. I had some new ones made for my application, but these lines will work if you remove the bracket and reroute them to the backside of the shock. Click image for larger version

Thanks for the response Flywrangler and posting the picture!!! I'll have to look in that location when I get home to see if mine has that mounting point on the back of the spring. I was looking all over the frame last night, the back of the wheel mount, almost every area within reach. It's possible I may have overlooked the back of the spring since I was mainly focused on items that were stationary and didn't even consider the spring. If my 2009 doesn't have this, then I'll have to figure out where I'm going to put this bracket, since it doesn't look like an easy removal without potentially damaging the brake hose. I'm hoping Mopar would be smart enough to include a mounting bracket that's permanently attached to the hose if it only applied to certain model years and I just happened to overlook that area.

I have no lift at this point. I'm making my last payment this month, so that extra available income now will start to get focused towards those types of mods. With this in mind in knowing the brakes would benefit with an upgrade when eventually putting on the bigger tires and I was due for new brakes all the way around, I made the decision to go with the Brake upgrade kit instead of wasting money replacing the stock rotors, calipers and pads. I will definitely keep the potential length increase may be necessary of the brake lines when I get to those mods.

The bracket does indeed mount to a stationary item, not the spring itself. At the very bottom of the spring where it sits on the axle, under that axle mount is the slot, opposite that is the bolt hole. I don't have any pictures on my device or I'd post one up.

As I mentioned before, if you are lifted you may not even be able to use the bracket. At full droop your brake line would be the limiting piece of hardware, supporting your axle....not what you want. Be sure to check to see if you'll have enough slack at full droop before you attach the bracket.
