That sounds like a problem to me. My JK stops smoothly and straightly, even during hard braking.

I am running 35x12.50's now and although my braking capacity has been reduced a bit, I still have ample stopping power and do not have any of the problems that you have described.

Have you checked your tire pressure up front... ??? Just a suggestion.. A few pounds can make a big difference during hard braking.. Sound like the fronts are locking up harder than they should..

Default Is this even a brake problem?

I also have the pulling to one side during braking. Its not bad but is kind of annoying. Is this even a brake issue or is it a steering or susp. issue?

The back and forth seems more like a bump steer kind of problem. Are you running a relocation bracket on you front track bar?

I sometimes get a pulling to one side or the other but it is simply because of the horrible rutted roads around here. On smooth roads, it stops straight and true. Could that be an issue for any of you experiencing problems?
