Yukon 4.88's. 1200 out the door with labor. Picked up diff covers afterwards.

They are turning, but that doesn't mean they are doing any work, as in spinning front axles with heavy wheels on the end. I could be wrong, but I don't think free spinning and moving a load are 2 identical things.

Yea I got that same advice... I couldn't help myself and wheeled that weekend. Been in for 15000 miles now with no issues.

I'm about to pull the trigger on gears for my 2012 and the shop I went to recommend Dana gears. Why would they recommend Dana Versus any other brand?

I specifically said to not cheap out on the bearings and said I wanted made in America. I will pull my invoice out tomorrow and post the brand the shop used...

Just had Yukon 5.13 gears install , gears and labor 1200 . What oil grade after break in period .
