Default Broke a Brake line

Well I accidentaly broke a brake line. It broke where the hard line meets the soft line. It broke off right at the head where they come together. I really have no idea what to do. I don't mess with brakes. Any help would be appreciated. If I need to post a picture I can.

Edit: after re-reading your post did you brake the hard line that runs the length of your frame?

No its the hard line that comes around the shock tower. It broke off where the connector is attached to it. The soft line is fine.

I had the same thing happen to me this past weeken d on the trail. I borrowed this pic from another thread to show where it broke.

The break happened on the black steel side of the line right at the fitting...

Anyone have a quick fix?

you can get brake line in various lengths with fittings and flared ends already. this is if you don't feel comfortable flaring it yourself. just follow the line back to the next fitting, measure the length, install new and bleed system. don't let the reservoir go dry by the way

Why not just cut the end with a tubing cutter, flare, and use a compression fitting??
