Default Broken Control Arm Bushings

So I have a few busted bushings on my stock control arms. What are my options for replacing the broken ones. Is there anything better than OEM bushings that will be fairly easy to switch out.

I see you have 4" lift. Why not upgrade to adjustable CA's instead of fixing stockers? Replacing OEM bushings are a pita.

Instead of dealing with purchasing and the hassle of replacing bushings into the arms, just buy some like new control arms complete with bushings from someone who has installed aftermarket arms.

I doubt they would be more than $50 for a set of them delivered.

Ya I have a lot of cracking and popping sounds.

I would love to replace my arms, but don't have the money to do it right now. I'd rather put in a ton of work if it will save me money. If I could get someone's old set it would be well worth it. Just have to find someone who's willing to sell me some.

Well I have aftermarket arms and one end uses OEM bushings for a factory ride. I replaced one this summer and still have to do the other. It is a pain but can be done. You can order the bushings from your local dealer parts dept or find them online. I had to use a chisel and a heavy hammer to get them out. I heard you can use a ball joint press to get them out so I will give that a try to see if that's easier.

That sounds like a pita. Hopefully the ball joint press will work a little better for you. How much did they charge you for a bushing.

I ended up ordering them online. Not sure what I paid but I think they were about $20-25 each. I figured anywhere would be cheaper than the dealer.
