She looks to be already running 35's. I wouldn't upgrade to 4.10s...might even consider 5.13's, especially if its an auto.

 

I know your thread has gotten into a lot of varioous detail already, but just wanted to throw in a consideration for original root cause... It's not quite "the sky is falling" but I'm sort of obsessing about this '07and up Dana axle stuff for now, and may calm down as all JK'ers at least get the message to check their front axle assys, but better to be a little annoying than mum on such a safety impacting possibility. Those that know/believe, pass the word - read my (Hog) posts on this subject for interesting speculation or something to dump on me for thinking.

thanks ya'll .. definetly made me not feel stupid. Glad i asked earlier when I talked to my man, who does my jks work.

The jeep is geeting a new axle shaft tommorow with the u joint andn end housing (no idea what that part is called!) It was 161 total for all of it and shipping overnight ....

so we are staying at stock for now .... when we finally decided and have every detail out .. and ready to spend the money ... I have this thread saved!
