Default Broken front track bar bracket.

Well today I sheared off my front track bar bracket. What is the best way to fix it. weld it back on, get an aftermarket part and weld it on or the option I haven't seen a bolt on after market part? Any help is appreciated since this is a daily driver.

you can try the dealer, but the will likely blame it on the lift....unless the dealer installed the will likely turn you away.....i had the same thing happen to me....so far front and rear have came off the axle.....looking at welds they dont go all the way to the ends of the brackets so they fracture then they bust the others off.....i just welded mine back on the looked around form some reinforcement brackets.....it also depends on if you are running an adjustable trac bar, or stock with bracket....however i will post some pice of various products

this top one is for the rear i cant find the other front weld in one at this time but the same principle add to existing bracket after you repair and weld this one in............

the second one you can add to the tacbar after you have welded and will beef up front...........this is from sky jacker

I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago. The leverage of my Skyjacker trackbar adapter bracket broke the front track bar bracket right off of the axle housing.

Luckily the dealer did the lift so they replaced the axle housing under warranty (and told me that if it happened again they wouldn't fix it).

I've since installed a JKS adjust trackbar so hopefully it won't happen again.

If your lift is not under warranty the cheapest option would probably be to weld it back on, and install an adjustable trackbar.

WOW, looking at the pics of the broken trac bar bracket that was definetly a design flaw with Skyjacker. Adding just that bracket to the axle housing turned that bracket into a nice size lever for the trac bar.

you'll need to have your factory bracket welded back on and you can have it gussetted up or have the JKS bracket welded on. if you need the additional relocation bracket, i would recommend the one made by Currie.
