Mine looked the same way, if you look at the photos close you'll see that
part of the broken bracket isn't shiney. Indicating that it has been slowly
tearing itself off for some time now (you probably heard a pop sound when
going over bumps) and finally got to the point of failure. I was on a trail (Shoe Creek) when mine went and had limp back to a road, I found a local guy to do a roadside repair while I was on the phone ordering a new adj trackbar.
Haven't had a problem since

everyone loves the JKS, I run the fulltraction and its worked fine for me
