It's a hinged contraption for the front grill ? or you're protecting against UFO's falling from the sky ?

If what you're looking for is branch/limb protection, this will make a branch hit the A-Pillar and/or windshield.

I would have to agree with the ufos, they r a problem here, lol, but it really would just be for looks,
It would have quick release pint and ride the hood when opened.
