Default Budget Boost

Need some recommendations, looking to buy a 2.5" budget boost for my 2009 4 dr JK Unlimited. Not sure if I should get Skyjacker or Teraflex. Also, do you really need shocks, I am not planning to do any serious off-roading,

Being a 2.5" budget boost I would just buy whichever is the cheapest. When I had my BB I used stock shocks with extensions, it worked but I would definitely recommend new shocks

I put on the Teraflex BB with the shock extentions on my 2009. Seems to be just like new. I guess it is just preference.

I have the TeraFlex BB with shock extensions on my Rubicon. The ride is about the same. The stock Rubicon shocks are very good, so I stuck with them. The TeraFlex shocks are about the same quality and ride from what I understand, and would give you a little more travel, but that may not be necessary for you if you're not doing any serious off roading.

get the teraflex and you won't be disappointed. do a search on the teraflex bb and you will find that it is, hands down, the favorite on this forum.

One of the reasons TF is better is that if you have a prob, you can get on here and get an answer pretty quick, also, they've put out a ton of BB's with minimal problems, can't say that for some of the other manufacturers.
