Default Budget boost question

I know I've seen people talk about this before, but I couldn't find the thread. (yes, I searched)

Anyway, I currently have a 0.75" Daystar level lift on the front of my Unlimited, and I'm looking to add the 1.75" Daystar front and rear lift. I've been told these are stackable, and it appears they'd lock into each other, but I wanted to get some opinions, before I went through the install, myself.

Any input, or better yet, has anyone done this?

lots of people stack spacers, but at that height why don't you just get a real BB lift? what you gonna do about the shock length and whatnot?

I've never done lifts, before, so I don't have an answer to that - these are things I don't know about.

what size tire are you wanting to run? Teraflex makes a "leveling kit" for like $130 that will lift you 2" front and 1" rear. Gives the Jeep a great stance, and can run up to 34" tire. They also have really complete 2.5" BB kits that can run 35s. the 2.5 comes with either shocks or shock extensions. Both kits address swaybar links and other issues.

I have the stock 32s right now, I might go to 33s, but not for a while, and I have no intention of going to 35s.

I already have the 3/4" level installed on the Jeep, and I'd like to go a bit taller, thus my thought of adding the 1 3/4" lift to the original.

I guess my question really is as follows: Will this work, or am I causing myself serious problems?

you need to do something about the swaybar links and stuff. I think at that height you should at least add extended swaybar links. I would just buy the leveling kit and sell your 3/4" spacers if it was me. comes with spacers and links. The kit gives the Jeep a great stance. It should have come the height that kit gives.

Will the stock wheels/tires work with that kit? Or would I need wheel spacers?

you would only need spacers if you got larger than stock width tires. like a 12.50

I think you've convinced me - anything else I'll need with the teraflex kit?

I just put this kit on my jeep last night in my driveway. Took me just over an hour... very straight forward kit. I think it's gonna be perfect with 33's. I'm very happy with it.
