Hey guys,
I getting a new JK next week. I had a RC spacer kit wt RC shocks on my 2010 JKU wt 35s and I find my ride really rough...
I know what you're all gonna say.. Rough Country...
So for my next build, If I'm looking for a smooth ride for a DD.. stock like(or better) suspension.. Do you recommend a new budget boost or a new suspension kit wt coils and shocks..?
If looking into a 2.5 in if it's a Budget Boost of 3 or 3.5 if it's suspension...
Help asap.. I need to get this in for monday..

is it safe to assume you were running the basic old school hydro shocks that came with your RC kit? if so, that was your problem right there. your factory coils should have provided the same ride. nothing wrong with getting another BB, just spend the extra cash and get a set of nicer monotube shocks like a set of bilstein 5100's or the like. that should help.
Do new springs and shocks, that will make your ride much better (many say better than stock)
As WOL stated look to a monotube shock, this overs a firm, responsive ride. RS7000MT
You also might look to an adjustable shock like the RS9000XL. This allows you to "dial in your ride" to what type of ride you want.
I personally like a 3, but some find it too soft and bump it up to a 4-6.
Good luck in your choice.
