In my research, I have found that most, if not all, of the winches on the market are made by a company in China called Cnwinch. Check our the website. If you do some checking around on old cached web pages, you will find they make most winches. I have verified that they make Ramsey, T-Max, Viper amoung other winches. They also advertise a which and compressor combo but I have not been able to verify if it is the warn winch; I have a feeling it is.

In the end you are buying service and product support just in case there is a problem. Obviously if you buy from a reputable retailer, you will be better off.

Personally, I am on a budget and do not use my winches that often and can not verify that any one winch is better than another. Therefore, I am going to buy a new 9500# Viper Winch off of ebay for $330 delivered with wired and wireless remotes. It is identical to the TMax winch I had before on my TJ, just different name plate. I liked my Tmax winch and never had any problems.

Just my 2 cents.

I would say to call David at Northrudge. He will get you the best product for your needs at the best price.

The warn xd9000i fits on the mopar offroad like it was made for it. I like the low profile... I am sure there is another manufacturer with one similar and cheaper. You will find one with the right price tag and specs you need. There have been several for sale here on the forum for decent pricing... Good luck and I hope your only need for the winch is to pull someone else out!

OK Summit racing price matches, Just ordered EP9.0 at 538.99 plus 11,95+7.50

Was going to go with a Smittybilt 10000 but with this price and lifetime warranty I could not pass it up. They have them in stock and shipped tonight.

Could not resist. I know it will not get tons of use and could have gotten a very capable winch smittybilt, viper, gorilla, just the lifetime warranty did it

If you're patient, you may well be able to find yourself a good deal on a used Warn winch. People love them because they're so durable and reliable - as long as you can find one that hasn't been abused, you can love that durability and reliability as the second owner of the winch.
