Default Bug Deflector?

Does anyone have any input as to how well the bug deflector works? Driving to Charlotte I nearly drained my windshield wiper fluid wiping bugs off. I know the Jeep isn't the most aerodynamic car in the world so I more or less expected it. But has anyone seen an appreciable difference using a bug deflector? Thanks for the input!

I put one on within the first two months. I have noticed a big decrease in the number of bug guts on the windshield.

Cool. As long as it's better than nothing I think it would be worth it. Thanks for the input guys!

My only other "bought new" vehicle rec'd a decent chip/ding about week 6 right where the bug deflector I was going to get would have been. Kept it for 10 1/2 years after that, never put a deflector on. Ticked me off every day I saw it. Had the dealer put one on before the Jeep left the lot. Good mojo.
