Default Build Questions???

I have a 2011 JKU non-Rubi, planning on running 37's.

If I buy RCV shafts for my D30, can I use them later for a 44 in the front?

Can I lock my rear D44 without upgrading my stock axles? and if I do will they last?

Build Plan

Bushwhacker Flat Flares

Rock Krawler 2.5" mod stock lift with Bilstien 5100 shocks

37"x12.50"X 17 or 18 KM2's or Goodyear Kevlar

Pure Jeep Rear bumper with tire carrier

I am leaning towards ACE rock sliders for money conservation.

Already have front bumper and Warn 9500 Powerplant

Regearing to 5.13

Possibly going to lock the back with ARB, front I am leaning towards TruTrac or Aussie so that I am not buying a 900 locker which I can not use in the front future 44

Rcv's in a 30 are dangerous. With 37's you'll be farther ahead to get a spare factory set from a junk yard. With the Rcv's in there it makes the ring and pinion gears the fuse of the front end. Id rather swap out shafts then gears and the locker they trashed.

No the 44 is a 32 spline shaft the 30 is not. Once you upgrade to a 44 all new parts are needed

And I think the arb fromt is on a 35 spline on the 44

Yes, you can run a rear eaton e-locker. From some posts by dynatrac, the rear d44 eaton is not as strong as the front d30 eaton or the rear d44 arb. (2 pin design on the rear eaton, vs a 4 pin design on the other two). May not be an issue for you, just something to be aware of.

honestly, so many questions. people are doing your build and some. people break and others don't. do your research, run what you're going to run, and leave it as that.

just don't expect sympathy when you ask why your 37's snapped your dana 30 axle when you jump a ten foot sand dune.

for your questions,

i'm running dana 30 front dana 44 rear, both axles will be regeared to 5.13's and both axles are going to be stuffed with arb lockers and i'm going to keep running them till something goes boom. if something ever goes boom.
