Default Bump-steer???

What causes this?? I have a JK 2dr with RC 4" lift & Steerig stab. My Steering is wacked out! Feels like a lot of play in the wheel. Some have suggested a high steer kit, other a drag link. I am a noob so I have no clue. Please help. Thanks

Pretty sure that kit comes with a drop pitman, do you have a bracket for the trackbar aswell, you should ,Are your draglink and track bar parrallel?

It's caused by the steering (drag link) and the suspension (track bar) not moving equal distances. This happens because when add a lift it changes the angle of the track bar with respect to the drag link. The dropped pitman that came with your kit should correct the drag link angle as MKJeep pointed out.

I think everything is ok. I will take some images and post them. I had another alignment. Got it as close to as the recomended spec. off just a little. Could a high steer kit help?

To 'what' recommended spec? Factory specs??

If so, have you read this one in the Suspension faq's?
Q: What is Caster? How much do I need?

May be something to look at in addition to the components...

BTW, a high steer kit in itself is not going to eliminate "play" in the steering.
