Default bump stops....PLEASE HELP

i have a 2008 JKU with 35s and a 3'' BDS lift but the shocks have been some what of an issue. i am going to change the shocks to bilstein 5100s but for bump stops i have questions with the difference between sizing and what you guys will recommend. i know that if everyone had deep enough pockets we would have the teraflex speed stops cause they are great but i dont have that kinda cash. i just wanted to know what size difference i should be looking for and i want looking at the teraflex bump stop extenders on quadratec they are only about $20.00s each. any one have recommendations

Bumpstops are specifically to limit up travel, and to a lesser degree to stop overcompression of the springs. The amount of bumpstop is going to be dependent on things like body lift, cut fenders, flat fenders etc.

For me I've got 3" of lift and a 1" body lift with 35s and 1" bumpstop pads in the front and 1.25" bumpstop pads in the back was just the right amount to keep from tearing off my fenders but achieve as much up travel as possible.

I'm running a RK 2.5" lift with 33's. It was very close without bump stops. I installed taraflex 2.5 up front and 1.5 aluminum blocks that I made in the rear. Now I have enough room for 35's in the near future. I don't have a body lift or cut fenders.

I've read where it states to use as long of a bumpstop as u have lift so 3" lift=3" bumpstops not sure if it's 100% true but I have 3" lift & only 2" bumpstops with 33's and still getting into my fenders so I believe it to be true
