You can get a Rusty's basic winch mount bumper for about $260 and you can get an optional winch hoop added on. It is made in the U.S.A. and is about the cheapest bumper you can find.

Default I went with the ARB Bull for many reasons

When considering bumpers, look at this investment for current and future needs. I bought the ARB Bull because of its versatility and durability. Now only did this allow me to mount my Warn Dual, but gave me lots of lighting options, anchor and safety options. I like the way my winch is reset down into the bumper so it blends in not standing out. The clearances and protection fits my needs.

I thought it came in a mid width too but I just checked there website and only see the stubby. I have been really happy with it the thing is bullet proof. The winch does sit really low in it and thats one of the reasons I bought it.

I know it wont work with the Power Plant winch though because there isn't enough clearance in the cutout. Not sure which winch your running.

It comes bare and you have to either paint or powder coat it. Also I added the tabs for the spot lights myself. The bumper doesn't come with those.

If you were referring to mine, its not a Smittybilt its a Mountain Off-Road Enterprises (M.O.R.E.) bumper.

I just checked the Rustys site and the winch mount bumper for the JK is $479. I looks nice but I'm wondering where you found it for $260?

[QUOTE=Waterdog;1750877]I got the RR XHD with Std Ends and hoop for a great price. Going to put on an XRC 8 or 10. Not sure which one yet.

That bumper looks great even without the winch. i don't see a seem where the end caps attach. Did you weld it or something.
Im still totally amazed that there are no tabs welded into that hoop for fog lights. Whats up with that.

I ordered my RR XHD yesterday with a RR 8500 winch and hoop. It should all be here the end of this week. Got a great price and free shipping.

It wasn't hard to install at all. I actually installed the winch after installing the bumper. All the bolts are easy to get to.
